rampant abandoned verses elegant designed
static manly rigid in line
built for the olympics
deep blue, athletically
still something proud in its appearance esthetically

deserted madwort wild grey partridge & tumble weed
As the fields there incline, they're looking like a grandstand a corroded refrigerator
a driveway you come up where the threes do pose like a school class would
I remember that
In '92 as a young boy
I heard so
& now it's coming back to me

whatever is synthetic has been bleached
over years all the light has detracted the color of it

The only colorful thing far and wide sticking out is a coke add sign floodlights with a latter going up
while the pool is untouched
